Toaster / Use cases
Website acceptance without scattered spreadsheets
One acceptance sheet for designers, clients, testers and developers. Report issues as you review a website — a prepared checklist is optional.
Create a workspaceFor web agencies and product teams reviewing delivery together with their clients.
How to organize the workflow
Spreadsheets make it difficult to attach evidence to a row, identify the developer responsible, and distinguish an earlier approval from a later failed review. In Toaster, each issue has an author, assignee, attachments, discussion and retest history.
Collect feedback
Open the project acceptance sheet. Designers review the design, clients try their business workflows and testers examine behavior. Everyone reports findings in one shared table.
Give developers context
Describe the expected outcome, attach a screenshot or screencast and choose an assignee. Evidence stays attached to its issue rather than floating over a spreadsheet.
Fix and verify
The developer takes the issue into work and sends it for retest. A reviewer accepts the fix or reopens it with a reason. Earlier decisions remain in history.
Keep the current picture
Filter by status and assignee. Changes appear automatically for other participants. Expand a row to read the discussion and retest history.
Illustrative workflow, not customer data
Design approves; QA finds another failure
- Issue
- The payment button extends beyond the mobile form.
- Fix
- The developer adjusts the responsive layout and requests a retest.
- First review
- The designer accepts the fix.
- Next review
- A tester reproduces the issue at another viewport and reopens it with a reason. The current state is reopened; the earlier approval is retained.
Before you start
Do we need a checklist first?
No. The acceptance sheet supports standalone issues. Checklists are available separately for repeatable, planned checks.
Can we attach videos?
Yes. Issues support images, videos and supported documents. Images and videos can be opened in the media viewer.
Does Toaster test the website automatically?
No. Toaster organizes manual review and its results. Team members open and test the website themselves.
